As with the standard Thermo model this is a traditional retractable, three part, timber folding ladder. It is constructed from red deal pine.
A d-handrail is attached to the top third of the ladder section, and there are protective rubber feet on the bottom. The door is spring loaded, meaning you do not have to take any weight while opening it. But with this “Extra” model the door is 46mm thick, meaning you get twice the insulation for even less heat loss.
